Im attempting to make pumpkin chips the way my mum does, by boiling the pumpkin first to cook it, then frying it. I have about 250 grams of butternut pumpkin, cut into four pieces (so it cooks faster). How long should i boil it for?

Is there a pumpkin cake mix on the market as opposed to a spice cake mix? I’ve looked all over but all i can find is the spice cake and that’s not what I’m looking for. i’m looking for a 100% pumpkin cake mix. Pumpkin Spice or Pumpkin Cake. Where can I find it?

The pumpkin I am using had gotten frozen outdoors, and the meet inside the pumpkin is very stringy. I am concerned it may be the sign of it going bad, or it may just be from getting frozen before it was cut open.

How in the world do you make pumpkin pancakes?

I get them at IHOP all the time during this time of year, but for the life of me I CAN’T recreate the deliciousness at home.

I tried one recipe and the batter was so thick they wouldn’t cook all the way through. I tried adding more milk and they just burned.

I can only use canned pumpkin, so please keep that in mind with your suggestions.

Please help!

How can I make a pumpkin head fly across the stage?

I’m a theatre director and I’m looking for ideas on how to make the Headless Horseman’s head (a plastic pumpkin) fly across the stage without careening wildly into my actors or the audience. The distance to travel is about fourty feet and I’m considering some sort of rig using monofilament (fishing line to the rest of us). If you have an idea, let me know! I’ve tried the basic pendulum idea, and it really doesn’t look too hot to me.
